The first of our three brewing units, YBL was established in 1987 in the foothills of the erstwhile Himalayan kingdom of Sikkim . Situated on the banks of the river Teesta that originates from sacred Tso Lhamo, one of the highest lakes in the world at an altitude of 5,330m (17,490 ft).
Blessed with this fantastic location, the brewery uses purified Himalayan spring water replete with natural minerals and a clean taste, that helps give our beer the distinctive and unique flavour so cherished by our discerning clientele for well over three decades and counting.

In 2006 the YBL group had it’s second brewery up and running in the state of Odisha, East India.
Our brewing water is filtered through the latest water-treatment systems to ensure high quality and taste. Great care is taken to recycle industrial waste on the factory grounds.
This unit also facilitates contract brewing of Sir John Beer Premium Canadian Beer Toronto Ale Company’s subsidiary Kanoe Impex Ltd. Our brewing unit is currently under expansion and we look forward to a higher brewing capacity.
Rhino Agencies Ltd.

Named after the official state animal of Assam, Rhino Agencies Limited was a pre-existing brewing unit that was acquired and operated by Yuksom Breweries Limited in 2009. Brewers on-site ensure top quality water treatment and brewing quality with state of the art water systems. This unit caters to Assam, Arunachal, and Tripura markets.
